Privacy Policy

Jendo Labs collects only what we need to sell, license, deliver, update, and support our software. We do not sell personal data, and Volta is not designed to upload your Ableton projects, audio, MIDI, samples, plug-in presets, or creative output.
Information we collect
- Purchase and account information. When you buy Volta, Lemon Squeezy handles checkout and payment processing. We receive the information needed to fulfill the order, including your email address, order details, product, amount, currency, and refund or dispute status. We do not receive or store payment card numbers.
- License, activation, and trial information. Volta sends the information needed to start a trial, activate a license, validate a license, check for updates, and manage activations. This can include your license key, product, customer email, hashed machine fingerprint, machine name, platform, app version, activation status, and trial start and expiry dates.
- Support and email correspondence. If you contact us, we keep the messages and details you choose to share so we can respond and follow up.
- Website, security, and analytics data. Our website uses essential cookies for sign-in and security. We may process IP addresses in server logs and rate limiting. We use Plausible for aggregate website analytics, such as page views and referrers.
- Crash and diagnostic information. If crash reporting is enabled, Volta may send error details to Sentry so we can diagnose bugs. Reports are scrubbed of license keys and personal data where possible.
How we use information
- To process orders, send license keys, and deliver downloads.
- To start trials, validate licenses, enforce activation limits, and provide updates.
- To respond to support requests, refunds, and license-transfer questions.
- To protect the website and licensing APIs from abuse.
- To understand aggregate website traffic and improve the product.
What Volta does not send us
Volta does not send us your Ableton project files, audio recordings, MIDI clips, sample library, plug-in presets, track names, or the music you create. Any files or project details you include in a support email are shared by you voluntarily.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers to operate Jendo Labs: Lemon Squeezy for checkout and tax handling, Resend for transactional email, Sentry for error monitoring, Cloudflare R2 for installer storage, and Plausible for website analytics.
Retention and deletion
We keep purchase, license, activation, and support records for as long as needed to provide the software, maintain your account, comply with tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
