Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of Jendo Labs software, including Volta. By downloading, installing, buying, activating, or using Volta, you agree to these terms.

License

When you buy Volta, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. Volta is licensed, not sold. One license covers one active machine at a time unless a different activation limit is shown at purchase or granted by Jendo Labs.

You keep the version you bought forever. One year of updates is included with purchase. Future updates, upgrade pricing, or renewal offers may change over time.

Trials and activation

Volta includes a 7-day trial with no card and no account required. Trials and paid licenses are tied to a machine fingerprint so we can prevent abuse and enforce activation limits. If you move to a new computer, deactivate the old machine from your account or contact support.

Restrictions

You may not:

  • share, resell, rent, sublicense, or distribute your license key;
  • publish the installer or make Volta available for unauthorized download;
  • circumvent trials, license checks, activation limits, or update access;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where the law allows it;
  • remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices; or
  • use the software for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity.

Payments and refunds

Paid checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy. Prices, taxes, and available payment methods are shown at checkout. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for Volta purchases. Approved refunds revoke the related license and deactivate its machines.

Compatibility and support

Volta is built for Ableton Live 11 and 12 on macOS and Windows. Some features depend on specific Ableton Live versions, operating system behavior, or third-party plug-ins, so compatibility can change as those products change. We aim to fix serious bugs and keep Volta useful, but we do not promise any specific feature, release date, or support timeline.

Your work

Jendo Labs does not claim ownership of music, sounds, projects, or other creative work you make with Volta. Volta is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ableton.

Warranty disclaimer

The software is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that Volta will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every setup.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Jendo Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of creative work. Our total liability for a claim related to Volta or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the software.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate a license if these terms are violated. When a license is terminated, you must stop using the software and delete any unauthorized copies.

Privacy and changes

Use of Jendo Labs software and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We may update these terms from time to time. If we make meaningful changes, we will post the updated terms here.
