Find the device or plug-in you need.
Search Ableton devices, Max for Live devices, third-party plug-ins, and saved User Library items without opening the browser.

Search your indexed Ableton sample libraries.
Point Volta at the libraries and sample folders you already use in Ableton Live. After indexing, search, preview, and insert the right sample into the current Live set.

Run actions
Run common session actions.
Run common Ableton actions from typed commands. Target a track by name, clean up clips, or jump around the session without menu hunting.

Build chains
Chain steps into repeatable moves.
Chain devices and actions into one move. Use semicolons when you know the sequence, or add steps with Cmd/Ctrl+Enter as you build. Save any chain as a favorite for later.

Open the palette with Cmd+Shift+K on macOS, Ctrl+Shift+K on Windows. Press Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to add another step when building a chain, Cmd/Ctrl+S to save a favorite, and Tab on supported items to add parameters such as count, bars, tempo, or track name.
